About WealthBot.uk

Accurate UK calculators, plain explanations, and no pretence of being anything more.

About · Updated August 2026

WealthBot.uk is a small independent site that does one thing: it gives UK savers accurate, free calculators and plain explanations of the rules those calculators are built on.

Why it exists

Most UK money questions have a number at the centre of them. What will this grow to? What will this cost me? How much do I need? The arithmetic is not difficult, but it is tedious, and the rules around it — ISA allowances, tax bands, thresholds — change often enough that most published answers are quietly out of date.

This site keeps the calculators accurate for the current tax year and explains, in ordinary language, what the resulting number actually means.

What we publish

What we are not

WealthBot.uk is not a regulated financial adviser and is not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority. Nothing here is personal financial advice, and none of it takes account of your individual circumstances. Calculator results are estimates based on the assumptions stated alongside them.

For advice specific to your situation, speak to an FCA-authorised adviser. For free impartial guidance, MoneyHelper (moneyhelper.org.uk) is government-backed and costs nothing, and over-50s can book a free Pension Wise appointment about pension options.

How the site is funded

There is no charge to use anything here and no sign-up. The site is funded by affiliate partnerships: some links to financial providers are commercial, and if you use one we may receive a commission from that provider. This never costs you anything extra.

Every such link is labelled AD · PARTNER so you can see exactly what is commercial and what is not. Commercial arrangements do not determine what we publish — the guides say what we think is accurate, including where that is inconvenient for a partner.

How we keep figures accurate

Tax thresholds, allowances and State Pension rates are checked against HMRC, gov.uk and Parliamentary sources, and pages carry the tax year they were written for. UK rules change at Budgets and at the start of each tax year in April; if you spot something out of date or wrong, please tell us.
